we had so much fun... hanging out at the farm, saying hi to the animals (especially the horse), playing in the corn box...

Friday...

...another date night for mom and dad. Jade stopped by to play with charly while we went to dinner with the Vernon's. No pictures tonight!

a few days have gone by...lets catch up!

Thursday night we went to dinner with Charly's birthmother and sister. We had a great time hanging out and when our dinner was through, we took them back home and headed to our house to carve some pumpkins. I envisioned it being a great family time activity for the three of us. Wrong. It started out well, but once the top of the pumpkin was cut off and lifted up....Charly absolutely freaked. She didn't expect to see what was inside the pumpkin. Long story short...Charly watched Dora and we carved pumpkins.

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY...

woke up to rain. what a dreary saturday it has been. so we stayed in our pajamas all day and rearranged the entire house. how fun...and confusing it has been for charly. at nap time today she did not want to sleep in her new room, so we napped in her old room which is now the spare bedroom...it might just take some getting use to!

having a kid is great... i now have a reason to decorate for every season! we had fun picking out our mums and scarecrow (which charly wasn't too sure of at first) and then setting it all up.

we enjoyed our time at Montauk and spent the day playing outside while daddy fished and then we met up with him. what a beautiful day!

Sunday Funday

we arrived at Montauk State Park today 10/17/10 to enjoy a mini get away with grandma and grandpa johnson and enjoy being outside. charly loved the water. as soon as we got to the park we headed straight there to put our feet in. BRRRRRrrrrr... it was FREEEEEZING, but we loved every second of it.

fall festival

almost 18 months old and I can't believe it. my baby is growing up so fast. today charly dressed as a ladybug today for the fall festival downtown and we snapped some pictures.

home sweeeeeet home

although it was great to get away and be together...we missed our charly!!! it feels good to be home and back to our normal routine...reading books before bed. i choose that any day over another drink in vegas!


can't wait to take/post pictures of tomorrow. tonight our neighbor gave us a huge box that we made into a slide and had a ball with!!! tomorrow we're dragging the box and wax paper back out along with the camera! we had a blast!

VACATION...

well, kinda...sorta. There haven't been pictures up for 2 days and the blog will have to take a back seat to our trip to Las Vegas. Charly will be so busy with her Grandma and Grandpa Koppen and Aunt Rebecca there won't be time for picture taking... only having fun and playing! I will resume normal photo shooting upon my return...Viva Las Vegas!

what a B E A UTIFUL afternoon to hang out in the front yard and run wild....and that is exactly what she did. I couldn't get her to hold still long enough to snap a decent picture!
